Celebrating NAIDOC Week: A Journey of Faith, Respect, and Unity ~

NAIDOC Week is a special time for our school community to honour the rich history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. For our Catholic faith, it’s a meaningful opportunity to live out the Gospel values of respect, compassion, and justice.

As followers of Christ, we are called to walk together in harmony, to listen deeply, and to stand in solidarity with First Nations peoples. NAIDOC Week reminds us of the importance of truth-telling, reconciliation, and celebrating the dignity of every person, values that are at the heart of our faith.

By learning about Indigenous stories, traditions, and spirituality, our children grow in understanding and appreciation of the diverse ways God’s love is expressed in the world. Together, we keep the fire of faith and culture burning brightly.

Father's Day ~ Thank you to all the Special Men in our Lives!

My Super Dad -

You hold my hand, you help me grow,

You teach me all the things to know.

You make me laugh, you keep me safe,

You're my hero, strong and brave.

I love you more than words can say,

You're in my heart every day. 💙

Thank you for sharing your special day with us coming together as one with the Lord.

We thank God for the Gift of our Dads.

Making Sandwiches for the Homeless as a family on Friday September 12 from 8.00 am - 8.40 am

If you would like to live out our Catholic call to help those in need why not join me with your child/children in a sandwich making session for Vinnies Van Services in the hall on Friday September 12th? The sandwiches are then delivered to Ryde and taken out that night.

It is an early start so those who are working parents can still be involved. Please rsvp to me asap on anne.gray1@dbb.catholic.edu.au if interested. Thank you.

If you can't make it but still want to contribute in some way, please feel free to donate a loaf of bread as we need to make 50 sandwiches. Email me if you would like to do this too, please.
