Wellbeing

As Term 3 comes to a close, it’s a great chance to take a breath and celebrate everything we’ve achieved together as a school community. It’s been a busy term full of learning, activities and fun, including Grandparents Day, Italian Day, Year 6 Confirmation, Protective Behaviours, Fathers Day, Book Week, The Arts Festival and many more.

After such a busy term, the holidays are the perfect time to recharge. Here are some simple activities students and families can try at home to support wellbeing:

  • Go for a bike ride, play backyard games or dance to favourite songs.
  • Spend time outdoors – explore a park, go for a walk or have a picnic.
  • Get creative with drawing, painting, baking, or building with Lego.
  • Keep a “holiday gratitude jar” – write down one thing you’re thankful for each day.
  • Enjoy some calm time with reading, colouring or listening to music.
  • Connect with others by playing board games, cooking together or calling a loved one.
  • Try mindfulness with deep breathing or simply noticing what’s around you.
  • Do small acts of kindness – write a thank you note, help with chores, or do something thoughtful for someone at home.

We are so proud of how our students have supported each other and shown such positivity throughout Term 3. Thank you to all our families for the encouragement and care you bring to our school community.

Our GEM Chat this week reflected on things we are grateful for in Term 3. The link is below!
