Principals' Report

Dear Families,
As Term 3 draws to a close, it’s a wonderful opportunity to pause and celebrate the many highlights that have shaped the past months. Our school community has once again shown its spirit, warmth, and generosity through so many special occasions.
This term we welcomed grandparents to share in the joy of Grandparents Day, cheered on our Prep students as they reached their 100 Days of School milestone, and supported our Year 4 students as they learned new skills in the Bike Ed program. Italian Day filled the school with colour and culture, while our Year 6 students deepened their faith through the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Our Parents & Friends team kept the spirit alive with a fantastic Father’s Day Morning and Stall, while many of you lined the track to support students at the District Athletics. Book Week was another standout with its lively parade, and we can’t forget the excitement still to come with Footy Colours Day!
Just last week, our Arts Festival brought together creativity, talent, and community pride—a real highlight on our school calendar.
None of this would be possible without the hard work and passion of our dedicated staff and the ongoing encouragement of our families. Together, you’ve made this term truly memorable.
We wish everyone a safe and relaxing holiday break and look forward to another great term ahead.
Summer Uniform
From the start of Term 4 all students can begin to wear their School Summer Uniform. The full transition to Summer Uniform will be by Monday 20th October (Week 3, Term 4).
Please note that as we are a sunsmart school, all students are required to wear their school hats from the first day of Term 4 whilst outside. There will be a 1 week grace period for this.
At the start of Week 2, Term 4 all staff will be enforcing the 'no hat, no play' policy. I also strongly encourage all students to wear sunscreen every day and to reapply sunscreen before going out to lunch.
School Fees
Just a reminder that all school fees are due by the end of Term 3, 2025. (Unless prior arrangements have been made with Mrs Easton and myself)
Cyber Safety Evening
📅 Wednesday 8th October🕖 7:00pm – 8:30pm
St. Patrick’s School is very excited to be partnering with Marty and Carley McGauran from Inform and Empower to present a parents-only online Cyber Safety Webinar for our school community.
This session will provide parents with practical strategies, up-to-date information and valuable insights to help keep children safe and supported in the ever-changing digital world. It promises to be an engaging and informative evening, equipping families with the tools they need to guide their children in developing safe and positive online habits.
We encourage all parents to mark this date in their calendars and join us for this important event. Please click here for more information and to RSVP.
Brad Rowswell visit
A special thank you to Brad Rowswell, our State Member, for kindly donating Australian flags to the St. Patrick’s community this morning. Our flag on the school flagpole was in need of a refresh, and we are very grateful for Brad’s generosity in helping us update it. We also extend our thanks to Mr. Speranza for organising this special visit.
End of Term 3
Please note that we will be finishing at 12:30pm tomorrow - Friday 19th September - for the end of Term 3. I wish everyone a happy and safe holiday and look forward to seeing you all on Monday 6th October for the start of Term 4.
2026 School Year
If your child or family will not be returning to St. Patrick’s School in 2026, I kindly ask that you notify me via email by Monday, 13th October. We currently have a number of children on our waiting lists for next year, and having clarity around available places will help us with planning and enrolments.
Thank you very much for your support and assistance with this.
