Dear Parents and Carers,
While Term 3 seemed to fly by, it was brimming with opportunities for our students to let their light shine and Be Fearless: Illuminate the Sky! From learning achievements to co-curricular involvement, our students have continued to grow and flourish in ways that fill us all with pride.
Please enjoy a small glimpse into the energy and joy of Term 3 in the video below:
As I shared in my communication yesterday, our College is in an exciting phase of transformation as we move confidently toward becoming a fully co-educational school by 2028.
A key part of our journey is developing a leadership structure for 2026 and beyond that supports our evolution and helps us remain a student-centred community that knows, values, and understands every learner. This includes the formalisation of our sub-school model - Junior School and Senior School - and the recruitment of a Director for each sub-school to lead and support our students. I anticipate sharing news of these appointments later this year, following the external recruitment process.
I sincerely thank you for your patience during this term’s consultation and development phase, as I worked to shape a structure that aligns with our values and supports our strategic goals. I am also pleased to share that, alongside these new leadership roles, the 2026 Business Plan includes important investments in additional staff, including teachers and teacher-aides.
I warmly invite you to join me for a Coffee Conversation early in Term 4. These relaxed forums provide an opportunity to ask questions, share feedback and explore the exciting journey ahead together. Please register your attendance via the links below. I look forward to connecting with many of you.
In alignment with our Strategic Pillar Wellbeing through Belonging, we design purposeful programs that support students through key transitions in their schooling journey. Our holistic approach to student wellbeing, delivered through the Care@Clayfield framework, ensures that each student feels connected, valued, and equipped for success.
Some key initiatives include:
Through these experiences, students are supported to build meaningful connections with peers and staff, develop essential personal and interpersonal skills, and grow in confidence as they move through their schooling journey. While these transitions are important, we remain committed to supporting our students at every stage, in partnership with you.
As we close this term, I wish you all a restful and enjoyable holiday period, filled with moments of togetherness and renewal. We look forward to welcoming you back for Term 4, where more opportunities wait for our students to shine and strive for personal excellence.
Warm regard
Dr Andrew Cousins
