Character Competencies
Throughout the year, students will be learning about Personal Character Competencies. These competencies are to ensure our students develop a strong emotional intelligence, which has been stated as the number one leadership and personal skill needed for future development. The Personal Character Competencies of Regulation, Resilience, Curiosity, Compassion, Communication, Collaboration, Adaptability and Courage are sets of intellectual, personal, and social and emotional proficiencies that students continually develop as they grow as educated citizens and lifelong learners.
So far this year students have been focussing on Regulation and Agency, speak with your children at home to learn more about these Personal Character Competencies and how we can develop these skills in our students.
