2026 stationery
For 2026, we encourage families to purchase their stationery requirements online through our preferred supplier, Rapid Office Supplies.
You are, however, welcome to obtain your child’s items from any supplier of your choice. As in previous years, we have reviewed and repurposed any surplus resources from this year to help minimise costs and reduce waste.
1. Ordering from the Rapid Office website – (preferred method)
The stationery pack cost covers:
- All stationery required for 2026 (Prep – Year 6)
- Mathletics subscription for 2026 (Prep – Year 6)
- Scriibi subscription for 2026 (Prep – Year 6)
- New Wave Mental Maths textbook (Year 1-6)
- Spelling Mastery textbook (Year 3-6)
- Wired headsets (Year 1)
- Printing and photocopying of worksheets and learning materials (Prep – Year 6)
We ask that orders are placed before students return to school in 2026 so that supplies can be delivered directly to PMPS and distributed to students on the first day.
2. Ordering from an alternative supplier
If you choose to purchase stationery elsewhere, please notify the school via email: port.melbourne.ps@education.vic.gov.au. The year-level stationery lists can be accessed on the Rapid Office Supplies website.
Families selecting this option will still need to pay the school directly for the following items so that students have access to required programs and resources:
- Mathletics subscription (Prep – Year 6): $18
- Scriibbi subscription (Prep – Year 6): $17.65
- New Wave Mental Math textbook (Year 1-6): $14.50
- Spelling Mastery textbook (Year 3-6): $31.45
- Headset (Year 1): $16.20
- Printing and photocopying levy (Prep – Year 6): varies by year level
Mathletics
Mathletics is an individualised online maths program which allows teachers to set revision tasks for students to allow them to consolidate skills and concepts taught in the classroom. These tasks are set at the student’s level and are expected to be completed as part of the homework program.
Scriibi
Scriibi is a writing tool used to assess students based on their individual needs along a curriculum-aligned continuum. It purposefully gives students clear next steps in their learning and supports continuous, measurable growth in writing.
New Wave – Mental Maths (Year 1-6)
A student workbook for New Wave Mental Maths. Designed to improve fluency with mental maths calculations and problem solving.
Spelling Mastery (Year 3-6)Student workbook for our new spelling program. In line with Direct Instruction these books will assist in building spelling proficiency through building knowledge and understanding of morphemes and suffixing conventions.
Headsets (Year 1)
Wired headsets are required for each student in Year 1 to support online testing through the Essential Assessment framework. Each child will be responsible for their own headset, as it is intended that they will take it with them to the follow year.
Printing and photocopying of worksheets and learning materials
A levy is designed to cover the expenses for printing and photocopying of essential learning worksheets and materials to support your child’s learning.
