Deputy Principal

St. Vincent de Paul ~ Preston Conference
Every Christmas St Vincent de Paul, as part of its mission and service to the community, particularly to those in need, provides assistance to families in our community who are doing it tough. Christmas is a special time for lots of families, but for some it is also a time that can highlight the disparity of the haves and the have nots. Our school has been a partner with SVDP for as long as I can remember. Over the past fortnight, our Year 5 and 6 leaders have been making cards and creating origami peace cranes that will accompany the resources provided by St Vinnies to make the festive season a peaceful and joyous season for all in our community. Thanks to James and Ann, our senior teachers, for working alongside the students to make sure this action took place, particularly in this busy time of year. Great work everyone!!
Buddy 'Thankyou' End of Year Picnic!
I had the absolute privilege of seeing our wonderful community in action on Friday night, with the Foundation students putting on a picnic for their Year 5/6 buddies to say thanks for all their support and friendship in 2025. It was a most wonderful occasion. A big shout out to the mums who organised the food and festivities, and for the wonderful gift pack you gave to each buddy. It was truly amazing!
To Annie, Eve and Tatiana for being the central organisers, to all the other parents who provided drinks, donuts, cup cakes and treats for our senior students to enjoy.......................
T H A N K Y O U !!
The highlight for me came later on in the evening, when I received some photos and a message from a mum, who said ' Great Afternoon, I love this school!"
Have a great week everyone!
