We’re only into our second week of Term 3, but things are already buzzing as we ease back into the swing of school life. It’s great to see the community reconnecting and the energy building for a busy and exciting term ahead. Feel free to reach out to the CET anytime if you’re keen to be involved, all are welcome. 

“WINTER WONDERLAND” TRIVIA NIGHT!  

Trivia Night – What a Night!

What an incredible evening we had on Saturday 26 July at our annual Grown-Ups-Only Trivia Night! This sold-out event was an absolute hit – the hall was buzzing with laughter, friendly competition, beautiful Winter-Vibes magic, and the most amazing costumes, showcasing such creativity and community spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who made Trivia Night so special — from the Trivia Committee and volunteers to the whole community who showed up, helped out, bought tickets, bid in the silent auction, dressed up, danced, packed up, and brought the vibe! And of course, a big thank you to all the school staff — both behind the scenes and on the ground — for their ongoing support!

We’re still finalising the fundraising total and compiling a detailed thank-you list, but rest assured every dollar of profit goes straight back to our wonderful school community.

For now, we’d like to offer a special thanks to Janet from Planet Janet Trivia and her incredible assistant Scott, who together delivered another fantastic evening, complete with winter-themed rounds, video and music questions on our brand-new projector, and a dance floor that came alive with DJ Jack’s winter-inspired beats.

Enormous thanks to the CET and the Trivia Sub-Committee for their tireless work in planning, organising, decorating, and running the night. 

Special thanks also to everyone who pitched in for pack-up – many hands made light work, and the smooth exit at the end of the night was true community spirit in action!

We also send our best wishes to our Trivia Committee member who was all set to run the photo-booth but had to pull out due to illness – we hope you’re feeling better and we deeply appreciate all your prep and planning behind the scenes.
