Production 2025
We can't wait !
Production is fast approaching, and the excitement (and the nerves!) are building in students and staff alike.
Tickets will be going on sale very soon, so please keep an eye on Compass to make sure you find out as soon as they’re on sale.
Over the next few weeks, there will be some important days to get us ready for the show. At the moment, these dates are still to be confirmed, but keep an eye on Compass for the confirmation ASAP.
Tuesday 5th August – Costume check and photo day.
On this day, students need to bring any costume items they are required to provide from home. Please see more details below.
On Tuesday, 5th August, students are required to bring to school any costumes that they are providing from home. Students need to bring their costume items in a named bag. Please make sure the costume items are also named. During the day students will change into their full costume, have their costume checked by a member of the costume team, and have their photo taken in their costume. Students will then change back into their school uniform.
Because students will be getting changed at school, they may wish to consider wearing a singlet top, bike shorts, bloomers, skins, etc that can be worn under their school uniform and their costume to make changing more comfortable for them. Please choose garments that will not be seen under their costumes.
With so many students getting changed it is important that all items of costume from home and all items of school uniform are named.
Please check that your child/ren’s clothing is clearly named.
Below is a list of what each grade/group needs to provide from home.
For more details, please see the Compass posts that were sent out last term, or the emails that were sent over the school holidays.

It has been great to hear that so many families spent some time over the holidays rehearsing the songs and dances from the show. If your child/ren would like to practice their songs or dances at home, these can be found on the Kalinda Online site.
Navigate to Specialists, Performing Arts, Production 2025, Dance Along.
On this site, you will find all the dances that the class groups have been learning.
If your child has a speaking part, and they have lost their script, or if you or your family would like to read a full copy of the script, this can also be found on the Production 2025 page.
Please note that you will need to be logged in using a Kalinda Google account to access this site, and not have any other Goggle mail accounts open.
If your child has a speaking part in production, please encourage them to practise their lines at home, and then return their script to their school bag, as it is very important that all actors have their script at school every single day. We require all actors to have memorised their lines, stage directions and blocking by now.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out via email or come and see me.
Kind regards,
Sarah Butler
