We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung People of the Kulin nation; past, present and those who will walk with us into the future. We acknowledge the rich and unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters and seas, educational practices and the hopes of all First Nations Peoples. We do this in the spirit of reconciliation as we move to a place of justice and partnership - together we work, learn, play and care for one another and this land.
As we begin Term 3 and look ahead it is going to be a very busy, but exciting term at Kalinda. In a short term of just 9 weeks, we are packing in so many engaging, enjoyable and exciting learning activities and opportunities.
Activities this term include:
These are just some of the amazing things going on at the school. Having special activities and events that students look forward to as they make their way through the school is so important to build our culture and ensure students have a great sense of connection and belonging at school. Whilst literacy and numeracy are key focuses in the classroom, we see all these activities as an important part of a holistic and broad education for all of our students.
So many of these activities rely on parents' participation and support. A huge thank you to the staff for their effort in planning and running all of these activities and for the parents involved in making them a great success.
Enrolment acceptances have started being sent out this week. If you have not yet enrolled your child, you still can. Please contact the office on 03 9876 3289 or see our website for more information: https://www.kalinda.vic.edu.au/page/131/Foundation-2026-enrolments
