Principals' Message

Dear Parents and Carers,
A warm welcome back to all our students, staff and families as we begin another busy and productive term. We hope you had a restful break and enjoyed some special time with family and friends.
It has been a wonderful start to Term 3, with a great sense of energy and excitement around the school. Students returned eager to reconnect with their friends and share stories from their holidays. It’s been fantastic to see everyone settling back into their learning routines so smoothly with the support our dedicated staff.
We are also pleased to welcome Mr Michael Crisafulli to our school community. Mr Crisafulli, from the University of Notre Dame in Sydney, will be completing his final 10 week teaching practicum in Stage 3 under the guidance of Mr Paterson. We look forward to supporting him throughout his placement.
Semester 1 - Three Way Learning Conferences
Our term concluded with our Semester One 'Three Way Learning Conferences' and once again it was great to witness such a fantastic response from our parent body in regards to attending these important learning conversations. It clearly demonstrates what a caring school community we have here at St Joseph’s with parents/carers and staff taking such an interest in how they can support each other to assist in the ongoing development and education of their children and the students of our school.
NAPLAN 2025
If you have a child in Year 3 or Year 5, you will have received their NAPLAN report which was sent home last week in an envelope. The report presents your child’s achievement against the national average for the year. Their results reflect their hard work and dedication, and we are incredibly proud of how well they performed across the assessments.
Wishing all members of the St Joseph's School community all the best for a great week.
