Reminders

NAPLAN Individual Student Reports

NAPLAN results for students in Year 3 and Year 5 who participated in the March assessments have now been received by the school. Individual Student Reports (ISRs) will be sent home in a sealed envelope with students today.  Please keep an eye out for the envelope in your child's school bag.

Year 5 families are asked to keep their child's NAPLAN in a safe place, as most secondary schools will require a copy with Year 7 enrolment applications.

The envelope will include:

  • Principal Cover Letter
  • The Individual Student Report outlining your child’s performance
  • An explanatory brochure for parents and carers

If a translation of the brochure is required in a language other than English, please contact the School Office to request a copy in your preferred language.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding achievements in this year’s NAPLAN assessments. Their results reflect not only academic growth but also hard work, determination, and resilience. A special thank you to our dedicated teachers and supportive families who help create the rich learning environment that makes success possible.

Working Bee

The Term 3 Working Bee will be held this Saturday 2nd August from 8.30am until 10.30am.

This is a terrific opportunity to make a positive contribution to the school environment and your child's learning environment.

Families who attend one Working Bee per year will have the $75 maintenance fee credited from their statement.

We encourage parents with wheelbarrows, gloves, shovels, brooms, rakes etc to bring them along for the morning.

We are especially calling out for parents who can attend and bring with them;

  • Drills with screw driver bits
  • Hedge trimmers
  • High pressure washers

Some of the jobs to be undertaken will be gardening and school improvement, moving furniture and dismantling old furniture.

As there is indoor work, we will be proceeding regardless of the weather.

We hope to see you there!

Term 3 School Fees

July statements have been emailed to families.

Please be reminded that any outstanding school fees are now OVERDUE unless you are on a payment plan and/or made other arrangements with the school office.

If you have not received it, please email the Office.

School Crossings

With child safety being a top priority at St Andrew's, parents and students are reminded of the importance in following the directions of the Crossing Supervisors. To keep our St Andrew's Community safe, it is particularly important to wait for the sound of the Crossing Supervisor's whistle before moving forward to cross the road.

School Absentee notification

If your child will not be attending school you must notify the office by 9.30am on the day they will be away. The preferred method is to use the Audiri App and the eform Absentee Form.

The other method is to ring the school office on 9551 5094 and choose option 1 to leave a message or send an email to office@saclaytonsth.catholic.edu.au

An SMS will be sent to parents that have not advised the school. This is a legal requirement.

No Parking/Access to the Staff Car Park

We request that parents do not access the school staff car park at any time throughout the school day.  We have had concerns raised by staff of children walking through the car park as staff either arrive or leave throughout the day.   We also have limited staff parking and therefore request that parents do not take up staff car parks.

Bikes and Scooters

Please walk bikes and scooters when moving through the school grounds.

Lost Property

Please check the lost property bin if you are missing any items.

Our lost property is stored in the blue wheelie bin.

It is helpful to mark your child/ren's item of clothing clearly to ensure a quick return.
