Level 6 Market Day & Mango 's

 

 

SEPS Idol  - Tuesday 24th of October

 

Our annual SEPS Idol Talent Show will take place on Tuesday 24th of October.

Auditions for the finals will take place during weeks 2 & 3:

Monday 9th October – Foundation

Tuesday 10th October – Level 1

Wednesday 11th October – Level 2

Thursday 12th October – Level 3

Monday 16th October – Level 4

Tuesday 17th October – Level 5

Wednesday 18th October – Level 6

Thursday 19th October – Make up day.

** There might be a slight change due to unforeseen circumstances.

It costs $1 to audition and $1 to watch the auditions. Students can dance, sing, do magic tricks or tell jokes. They can perform a solo or audition as a group.

We encourage music and costumes.

One act will be chosen from each level to compete in the SEPS Idol talent show on Tuesday 24th of October.

There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for:

  • Foundation to Level 2
  • Level 3 – 6.

Level 6 Market Day – Thursday 26th of October

The market will take place from 10.40 am until approximately 12.30 pm.

 

Food Stalls

Outside the SLC there will be food and drink stalls set up in a square, with tables in the 

middle. Students can purchase food and drink and sit to enjoy these delights.

There will also be a link to pre-order home made pizza, tacos and SEPSway subs, which will be sent early next week.

This year there is a focus on homemade food and reduced waste.

 

Games Stalls

There will be stalls selling game time on the oval, including water games, suction archery, arcade style games. 

There will be stalls selling hair styling, hair colouring, face painting, temporary tattoos and nail polish.

Students can also fossick at Trash & Treasure.

In the stadium there will be a hula hut sports game and there will be a movie at lunchtime.

 

Trash’n’Treasure

If you have any good quality books, games, toys that would be suitable for our Trash’n’Treasure stall please send them along to the 6A&6B classrooms. This stall is always a hit with the students.

 

  • Students wear casual clothes for a gold coin donation. 
  • Students can bring up to $20 to spend on the day.
  • This market supports the Level 6 Business and Economics curriculum and money raised goes towards the Level 6 graduation.
  • Please ensure they have a full-brimmed hat and apply sunscreen as needed.

** This event might be postponed if the weather is unsuitable for the day.

Mango Fundraiser 

 

If you love mangoes, here’s your chance to indulge in fresh juicy Bowen mangoes (Kensington Pride) and support our fundraising drive.Due to an unusually warm QLD winter, mangoes are expected to be in short supply, but we have mango-ificent news. SEPS is selling mangoes for delivery straight from the farm to us in December. They are packed in a single layer tray, with approximately 4.5kg of Mangoes per tray.Cost per Tray is: $27.00. Place your order by 2 pm Tuesday 24th OctoberDelivery: Early-Mid December 2023 - Collection details tba.
