From the Principal

Kambala has had a joyful Term 3 filled with learning, leading, and belonging.
The past ten weeks has been a hive of activity across the whole school with many pursuits and celebrations bringing the extended Kambala community together.
We’ve had great success in the Angus Cup Debating, the Write a Book in a Day with Scots College, the various music soirees, and the VADT Showcase for the HSC and IB major works. Furthermore, we have inducted our new Prefects and Leaders for 2023/2024, had a Boarders and Friends Day in the Boarding House, great success with the 40 Hour Famine and Year 4’s production of The Lorax.
A highlight of Term 3 was to bring together the male figures in our girls’ lives in celebration of Father’s Day 2023. We had a huge turnout across the school, and it was delightful to welcome the dads, uncles, grandpas, and other family members on-site.
This week we formally farewell our 2023 HSC and IB students. Whether you’ve been part of the Kambala family since Massie House or whether you joined us in Year 7, each one of you has played a part in making our School what it is today. You have strived to consistently uphold our School values of Humanity, Courage, Curiosity and Respect and we know you leave us ready to continue your journey in making your unique contribution to the world.
With that in mind, as Term 3 draws to a close, I’d like to thank all teachers, students, and parents for embracing all the opportunities we’ve had to come together and celebrate our community over the past ten weeks. We are a unified collective, and we are always at our best when we connect in celebration of all things Kambala.
Whilst you're on your break I encourage families to listen to the latest Kambala Voice podcast: The International Baccalaureate Diploma and its continuing evolution at Kambala. This is an ideal podcast to listen to with your daughters, who may be contemplating the IB for their senior years. Click here for the Kambala Voice or listen via the spotify, amazon and google platforms.
I wish you all a safe and relaxing school holiday break, and we look forward to seeing you in Term 4.
