School Attendance

Student Attendance

Throughout term 3 our attendance team were focusing on incentives and rewards for excellence in attendance. The team has supported families who have experienced difficulty with ensuring regular attendance and timely arrival at school. If you are experiencing difficulties with these, please reach out to the attendance team by making contact with our school office.

Students were made aware of the importance of arriving at school on time each day and resources were shared via Seesaw and within the term 3 school newsletters. Supervision is provided between 8:30-9:00am. Students who arrive on time have the opportunity to settle in, adjust their emotions and be ready to learn. After support was offered and data collected about attendance the students who were striving for excellence had their names placed in a raffle and 20 students were drawn out to have a celebration morning tea. The students enjoyed poppers and donuts, they also discussed why they think regular and timely attendance is important and ways they can continue this.

Well done to all the students who were striving for excellence with attendance, keep it up, as you may have the opportunity to share in an attendance celebration this term.

Kind regards,
