2024 Late Returners and Leavers
To assist with the organisation for a successful start to 2024, we need to know which families will NOT be returning to LPS and any students who will be returning late. If your child is not returning to LPS or is returning later in 2024 (after school commences on Thursday 1 February 2024), please complete the below form.
Tell Them From Me Parent Survey
You are invited to participate in the Tell Them From Me Parent survey.
The Tell Them From Me Parent Survey is anonymous, voluntary, and easy-to-use. It is based on a comprehensive questionnaire covering parents’ perceptions of their child’s experiences at home and at school.

Years 3-4 Check-in Assessment
During Weeks 3-4 Term 4 students in Year 3-4 will participate in the Check-in assessment.
The Check-in assessment is a NSW Department of Education online literacy and numeracy assessment available to support schools to assess and monitor student learning.
The assessment can supplement existing school practices to identify how students are performing in literacy and numeracy and to help teachers tailor their teaching more specifically to student needs. Students with a disability may receive the same level of support during the assessment they would normally receive in the classroom.
School Travel Application - Transport for NSW
2024 school travel applications are now open, please refer to the attached information to complete an application for your child/ren. Parents and carers are reminded to apply now to be ready for the start of the new school year.
Allergies: Student Lunch Boxes and Birthday Celebrations
We encourage families to keep food allergies in mind when packing their child/ren's school lunches. Many students have varied food-based allergies, including allergies to peanuts, dairy, gluten and egg. Some of these allergic reactions can lead to severe reactions such as anaphylaxis.
With COVID Smart Measures and child allergies in mind, families wanting to provide a birthday treat for their child are asked to either make a purchase through Mel’s Lunchbox (eg. iceblocks/individual cupcakes) or provide store bought/packaged cupcakes and ensure packaging detailing the ingredients is also provided to the class room teacher. If you are planning a birthday treat for your child please contact your child's classroom teacher (prior to day of) to discuss if there are children in the class who may have a food allergy, to ensure no child is excluded.
