Hello, I’m Lucinda, one of your school captains for 2026. I have been in leadership here for a few years now, and I love sport, music, baking and travelling!

I put my hand up to be a Year 12 Captain because I think Northcote High is an awesome school, but that there is also always room for improvement, and I’m keen to enact the change that we as students want to see.

Hey! My name is Nikita, and I am another one of your 2026 school captains. My interests are cooking, music, acting and travelling! I only tried for captains last year; I ended up working with an amazing team, figuring out I absolutely loved coming together with others to make students ideas come to life.

Hi, I’m Jett, one of the school captains for 2026. I enjoy playing cricket and soccer, being a soccer referee, and spending time with my family and friends. I’ve been in leadership roles throughout my years at Northcote High, and I’m looking forward to getting to know more of you and hearing your thoughts about how we can make this great school even better.

Hi, I’m Eve, and I’m thrilled to be one of your 2026 school captains. I’ve been involved in leadership since I started at Northcote, helping to make changes for the better. I love playing netball and footy as well as baking and spending time with my friends. As a school captain I want help build a supportive and enjoyable environment where everyone feels seen and a part of the Northcote high community.

Together, we are stoked to be representing the students of Northcote high this year. We really want to prioritise making the school an enjoyable place for everyone and continue to build on the culture within our school and wider community. In addition, this year will be a milestone in the Northcote high school legacy, celebrating our hundredth year! As captains, we would like to reflect this significance via events throughout the year, particularly honouring our class of 2026.

As a piece of advice to younger students: we strongly recommend taking advantage of the opportunities and the various programs that Northcote high has to offer – we are lucky to have such a variety of ways to broaden interests and experiment before taking on the real world!

Overall, we are looking forward to 2026. If you see us around, please don’t be shy - come say hi!
