Key Centenary Dates

We have plans in place for several key events to celebrate our grand Centenary milestone throughout 2026. 

This will be a momentous occasion to honor the legacy of Northcote High School and celebrate the achievements of our community over the past 100 years. I hope many of you will join us in commemorating this remarkable milestone and we have the dates below for you to put in your diaries. Each of the events will have a key theme that highlights the school’s history and achievement in this area. 

Whole School Assembly 

Tuesday, 28th April 2026: 11:30am-12:40pm Merri Park (South Park) 

Whole school community invited 

This is an annual school event and alumni will be invited to stay for a light lunch in the school ‘W M Olver Hall’ following the assembly.

Centenary ‘Back To NHS’ event 

Saturday, 16th May 2026, 10am – 2:30pm 

Centenary ‘Back To NHS’ event

Whole school community is invited to attend throughout the day. 

Centenary Concert 

Thursday, 27th August 2026: 7:00pm – 9:00pm 

Performances and Music to celebrate the school’s Performing Arts and Music Program. 

The event is ticketed and will be held at the Clock Tower, Moonee Ponds.

I hope that you can attend at least one of these events, in particular we are looking forward to the ‘Back To NHS’ event and holding it on the weekend so that as many alumni can attend as possible. We will send out more information about each of the events in the month before the event with further details.
