Grade 1 have been learning about measuring the length of different things accurately using informal units
They have also been learning about the body and making healthy choices during the drama incursion.
Year 1 & 2 Drama Incursion Fun
Yr 2’s loved taking part in the ‘Body Investigator’ drama incursion on Wednesday! They learnt about positive impacts on their bodies when they eat healthy food, exercise and get plenty of sleep!
Rock and Lol Whole School Music Incursion
At the end of our first week, the whole school rocked out to an awesome performance by representatives from the Sharon Davis Music School.
The students learnt about Rhythm, Tempo, Pitch, Major and Minor Chords and the Pentatonic scale.

Are you wondering what the best class in ST.Cecilia catholic primary school is? Well think no more because I have the answer for you… it`s 4K and here is why.
First of all, our amazing teachers, Mrs.Hurley and Mrs.Chalkly, we love it when they teach us all about the mexican wave and snowball fights. Every bit of our class is great, the only rule we have is if you step into this classroom you have to be RESPECTFUL to everyone and that is always expected. Our class is a fun bunch, but we also need to learn. Even when we are, we still have an Amazing time.
Secondly, our spectacular specialists! First let us tell you about French in 4K. French is really fun. We have just gotten pen pals in France who we are writing letters to.
La cocorocha la cocorocha! Oh sorry I was practising for music where we learned a type of Mexican music called Mariachi.
INTRODUCING OUR NEW SPORTS TEACHER … Mr Balcombe in sport with our new sports teacher we have played some Amazing games even one of them was called the best game ever.
And last but not least Art where we have been doing some self portraits we could do a blocky grid version of normal with a colourful background.
All up, the whole of 4K has enjoyed our first 2 weeks back at school and will definitely come again!
