To our dear and wonderful community,

It has been so lovely seeing the kids return to school, full of happy faces and filling the playground with laughter. I trust that your break was both restful and a long time ago! 

And a whole new bunch of Preps (oops, Foundation students!). 

Student Leadership 2026

Our senior students have been busy writing speeches and receiving and giving feedback to their peers on what it means to be a leader. I am excited at the prospect of working closely with our school leaders in 2026. They are a great bunch of children who I know will utilise their strengths towards improving our already mighty school.

Planning

With our theme as a staff this year being 'Together, We Grow', it was great to launch our new space at our great school, the teacher's planning room. As part of our School Review recommendations in 2025, two opportunities for us as a staff was to have a more effective planning space and to make data more visible for staff to drive student learning. So we have turned the old Literacy room into a welcoming space for our wonderful teachers and Learning Support Officers. It has been a welcome addition for our staff to meet, plan, discuss, create and work.
