Our First Week
The first week in our prep class has been a wonderful start to the school year, filled with smiles, curiosity, and new friendships. Students quickly settled into classroom routines, explored new activities, and showed great enthusiasm for learning together. It’s been lovely to see children building confidence, helping one another, and forming friendships through play, teamwork, and shared experiences. We’re so proud of how positively they’ve embraced their first week and look forward to an exciting year ahead.
These are big days, and we’re sure the children are feeling tired after full days of school as they continue building their stamina and independence. Our Monday one-on-one assessments are now underway, giving teachers valuable insights into each child’s progress. We’re also pleased to see morning drop-offs getting better and better each day as students grow in confidence.

Maths and Literacy
The first week of Maths and Phonics in our prep class has been a fantastic success. Students eagerly explored early number concepts, counting, sorting, and patterning, while also beginning their phonics journey by learning new sounds and practicing letter recognition. The children showed great focus and enthusiasm, confidently joining in discussions, games, and hands-on activities. It has been wonderful to see their excitement for learning grow as they build strong foundations in both Maths and literacy during their very first week.
Specialist
The first week of specialist lessons in Art, PE, STEAM, and Music has been a wonderful success for our prep students. Children enthusiastically expressed their creativity through art, built coordination and teamwork skills in PE, explored curiosity and problem-solving in STEAM activities, and enjoyed singing, movement, and rhythm in music. The excitement and confidence shown as students tried new experiences and followed routines has been fantastic to see, making for a positive and engaging start to learning across these specialist areas.
