Patrick and Noah Shine at the 2023 State Combined Event Championships

Patrick and Noah had a strong showing at the Heptathlon last weekend, competing alongside their Belmont peers.

Noah achieved first place in the high jump with a personal best of 1.87 metres and excelled in the long jump, covering a distance of 5.84 metres. Patrick also performed well with a personal best of 5.84 metres in the long jump and completed the 1500 metres in 4 minutes and 32 seconds, securing a first place finish in that event.

While Noah earned a bronze medal, Patrick fell just short of a podium finish. Nevertheless, Patrick consistently improved throughout the competition, accumulating over 4000 individual points. These accomplishments underscore their commitment and progress in a highly competitive field. We extend our congratulations to these talented athletes for their achievements at the championships.
