Principal's Message

Nurture.  Innovate.  Celebrate.

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families

COLOUR RUN!

On Thursday 23 November it was great to see lots of happy faces, smiles, laughter and clouds of paint powder filling the air as students were smothered in colour running around the oval. Students came to school in their white t-shirts to make sure the colour really stood out so there was a lot of excitement in the build-up to the actual running.

It was awesome to see so many families come to school to support the event and add that extra little bit of atmosphere to an already exciting day. Thank you!

Perhaps next time parents might be able to run with their children too...

The students also did a super effort in raising $5, 500 to go towards the refurbishment of the old gym!

Some students put in a little bit extra of an exceptional effort by raising over $200 each.

And two amazing junior classes raised over $1,200 each and they were:

IJ7 Powerful Pride and 1R6 Confident Crew!

Yesterday, students who raised money received their prizes they chose from the colour run website as reward for all of their effort and hard work.

Of course, all of this wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing efforts of our amazing FOM volunteers! They organised the event, created the posters and flyers, got the students really excited and engaged in raising money for their school and helping to run the actual event!

A special shout out to Matt our super maintenance person for helping to set up for the event too!

Overall, it was a hugely successful and awesome community event!

Take care and stay safe!

Kind regards,

Darren Wallace
