From the Principals' Desk

Reflecting on our journey in 2023, All Saints’ has been privileged to witness remarkable growth and achievements. To the entire school community, your steadfast support, tireless effort, and unwavering kindness have been instrumental in our progress. A heartfelt appreciation goes out to our parents whose continuous dedication has shaped the fabric of our school. Thank you for entrusting us with your most cherished treasures—your children. It remains our privilege and honour to educate them in the Catholic tradition.

Watching our kindergarten students transition into year 1 evokes the rapid passage of time. Parents cherish these fleeting moments with your children; they are precious and fleeting.

To our year 6 students as you embark on your journey to High School next year, thank you for all of your efforts this year, you were small in number but had a big impact. Your conduct throughout the year, both within our school and the broader community, fills me with immense pride. On behalf of the All Saints’ community, I extend heartfelt wishes for success in your onward educational journey. I always like to leave a quote for our outgoing year 6 students to ponder. So to quote Aristotle

‘It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it’.

Looking back on 2023, I must acknowledge the outstanding efforts of the All Saints’ staff. Consistently surpassing expectations, they've continued to go above and beyond their call of duty to provide the students of All Saints with a wonderful educational experience.

I extend my gratitude to Father Brancik, whose unwavering commitment to our school community is immeasurable. His devotion to prayer sessions with the staff, classroom scripture teachings, sacramental program management, and monthly Benediction sessions are deeply appreciated. Father, thank you for your steadfast support of All Saints’.

A sincere and heartfelt thank you goes out to the P and F for their dedication and tireless efforts throughout the year. Your commitment to enhancing our school community through various initiatives, events, and fundraising has been invaluable. The impact of your contributions resonates deeply within our school, fostering a sense of unity and togetherness that truly enriches the educational journey of every student. Your steadfast support continues to elevate our school, and we are profoundly grateful for the passion and dedication you bring to All Saints’.

Throughout this year, our school hosted numerous events that fostered unity within our community, from Mother’s Day high tea to All Saints’ Day celebrations, showcasing our dedication to togetherness. We even hosted a very special event this year, the Royal Far West 2023 Ride for Country charity bike ride. It was a great chance to meet some of the Royal Far West team and help contribute to such a wonderful group that has supported All Saints’ and other schools across the diocese and state for so long.

The gardening club, under Mr. Larose’s guidance and with parent involvement, has nurtured an exceptional vegetable patch. This hands-on experience in gardening, harvesting, and cooking has gone from strength to strength. The Veggie patch is looking amazing.

The sensory garden after all of these years has finally started. It will be finished in 2024, however, it is worth noting that students are using it already and enjoying all of the benefits that a sensory garden has to offer. The sensory garden is a school community initiative and I am very proud of the efforts of staff and parents to make it a reality. It has been a very long time in the making and once finished will be of great benefit for years to come.

As we embrace the holiday season, I urge everyone to relish the special time of Christmas with family and friends. We can sometimes lose track of the fact that our experiences are what matters, not what the latest toy, gadget or thing is, it is the experiences that we share with those whom we care about around us…that is what truly matters!

God Bless.
