Interschool Sport

On Friday the 17th of November our Grade 5/6 students participated in the first ever District Fun Sports day. It truly was a fun day! We had 13 teams participating across the following sports: Dodgeball, European Handball, Ultimate Frisbee and Downball.

A big thank you to our wonderful staff and helpers, particularly Kylie O’Gorman and Kristy Pearson, who volunteered their time to make sure our teams could all participate. Well done to our students who stepped in to help referee games at European Handball throughout the day – you did a wonderful job!

The focus for the day was participation and fun. Students showed outstanding effort and sportsmanship throughout the day to produce lots of wonderful moments and the following results:

European Handball – 1st and 2nd (Rolling Hills Vs Rolling Hills grand final)

Dodgeball boys – 1st

Dodgeball girls – 4th

Downball girls – 2nd

Downball mixed – 2nd

Ultimate Frisbee girls – 2nd

Ultimate Frisbee boys – 4th
