Principal Report

Dear parents and carers,

As you are reading this you will be aware that the Christmas Extravaganza has been postponed for until Tuesday 5th December. We will be hitting pause for one week. We want the community to come together and have the best time we can possibly create with the resources we have.

I am sure the rain will come at some point. It may even miss this afternoon. I know if we had run our event the rain would 100% turn up!

Looking ahead to next week:

• The Art Show has been created and will remain for the upcoming week. Classes in the gym will be outside this week or in other spaces.
   
• The students have another week to practice their songs and lead roles. There will be a whole school rehearsal next week.
   
• Our AV and sound have been successfully moved to next week.
   
• The Book Fair has been moved to next week.
   
• The food options we have booked for the evening have been moved. 
   
• Santa has agreed to change his busy December schedule and will be here on 5th December. 

All of that takes a huge effort and I would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped postpone the event. 

Not that I am hoping for rain today, but we are hoping the decision to move is one we can all see as being the sensible one....even if the rain stays away! 

I am looking forward to a great community gathering. Thank for your communal understanding and the support.
