Walton House News
Dear Parents, Carers, Family and Students,
Hello Walton!
Term 4
Term 4 is halfway through – and what a busy term it has been! We have had the year 12 students completing their VCE exams and they have been doing a spectacular job taking them seriously, arriving on time and making the most of studying in the CRC prior to exams. The Walton team are extremely proud and impressed!
Year 10 exams have run this week with English and Maths. These have gone well too, with students rising to the challenge and working on their academic rigor!
In week 8 the 2024 academic year begins with our commencement program. Students will get their new subjects and experience two weeks of their 2024 timetable. This is to prepare students for the increase of workload, get to know their teachers and to get a head-start with their coursework.
In week 10 we have the Lysterfield Lake excursion and that wraps the 2023 year!
There will be a presentation night to celebrate student achievements in December, with information regarding that to be communicated to families soon.
Values Nominations and House Points

Reading House Points
The 2022 House Reading Challenge is over, and excitingly, Walton came in first. Congratulations to all students and staff who participated in the reading challenge! At this stage Walton are leading the book club points for 2023 too! Please keep reading and writing reviews 😊
Uniform
A reminder that all students are expected to be in full school uniform. This means the academic uniform, or the sports uniform. Students can’t mix and match the academic and sports uniform. A reminder that as we head into winter, hoodies are not permitted nor are puffer jackets. Please ensure you contact Walton for support if you require assistance in obtaining a uniform. As a whole, the uniform at HPSC has been looking amazing. Let’s keep it up!
Attendance and lates
Attendance has improved so much since last year, well done to all students and families for prioritizing attendance. Please continue to let us know the reason for an absence if it occurs. At HSPC we want students to be having access to as much learning time as possible, so please remember to come on time, all the time 😊
Thank you
