Commencement 2024
Commencement classes start on Tuesday 21 November with a focussed Student Dispositions program to discuss the expect standards for all members of our community. 2024 classes start officially on Wednesday 22 November and run until Tuesday 5 December.
Our expectations of Mabo students is that they prepare for success by arriving to class on time, in correct uniform, and that you all aim for improvement and growth. If you have any questions about your subjects please contact us in Mabo House- it is however unlikely that changes will be made to your 2024 program as you have all been involved in significant Course Counselling and should have the majority of your subjects if they are running.
Junior Students
On Wednesday 6th December all YR 7-9 students are invited to attend the Lysterfield Lake End of Year Excursion. It is a great way to celebrate the year and have some fun with your friends. On the day we have mountain bike riding, bushwalking, a free BBQ and other fun and games. It will be great to see you all there- please return your forms or submit them online on Compass ASAP.
Thank you and good luck
We want to thank and give our best wishes to two staff members leaving the Mabo House Student Leadership Team- Mr Musa (YR 7 and YR 8 SLL) and Ms Grove (YR 11 and YR 12 SLL). Mr Musa jets out on a holiday with his family in the coming weeks and will return to the classroom to help many of you out in 2024 and Ms Grove has been successfully in gaining a Leading Teacher- Professional Practice Leader position for 2024. On behalf of our Mabo staff and students thank you both for your support and effort this year. Good luck with your future endeavours.
As always, look after yourselves and if you have any questions or ideas on how we can continue to make our school the best it can be drop into the Mabo office for a chat or a game of Uno……..
Up the Crocs!
