VOCABULARY

Repel: “Repel'' in science is a term that describes two bodies pushing away from each other, generally as a result of an electrical force.

Absorb: Absorption is the condition in which something gets mixed or absorbed completely in another substance. 

Leak: A leak involves the release of something.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Students use materials found around the home to test if the material repels, absorbs or leaks water. Record their findings in their homework books.
