Performing Arts

It has been a busy couple of weeks in Performing Arts for our students.  

• Years 1 and 2 have been exploring some music and movement to the Japanese folk song ‘Haru ga Kita’ which is about Spring.
• Years 3 and 4 have been learning the tuned percussion part to the American folk song ‘Tideo’.
• Students from F-4 have been polishing the Andrew Chinn song ‘Ubuntu' for yesterday's Grandparents and Special Friends Mass.
• Years 7 and 8 students have transitioned from learning ukulele to guitar.
• Students have been preparing for performances at the Arts and Design Technology Showcase next Thursday, 2nd November.
