Champions League Soccer has well and truly arrived at VSC!!

In Week 3 of this term, the Yr10 and Yr11 Soccer tournament started in earnest and will continue for most of this term. The first round of games saw two quality Yr10 teams face each other – not once but twice in one week! Having drawn the first match 2-2, the replay two days later proved equally as exciting and was eventually decided on penalties.

Week 4 saw the turn of the Giants of Yr11 taking each other on. Much like the matches with the Year 10s, the game was played with great respect for each other, attended by a large supportive crowd from many year groups and we witnessed some quality and at times, slick soccer skills from many involved!

Well done to all involved, both on and off the pitch for upholding the College’s Values at all times and a special Thank you and Well done to our super Ref- Ben Lu – never one to shy away from difficult decisions on the pitch !!
