Principal's Report

Term 4 continues at full pace with several key milestones now behind us. In recent weeks we have farewelled the Class of 2025, who have now concluded their formal classes. Their Celebration Day ran smoothly and was followed by our Guard of Honour, acknowledging their final departure from the campus. Presentation Evening offered a meaningful moment to recognise academic achievement, contribution, leadership, and effort across the cohort. It was pleasing to see families, staff, and students come together in celebration of the growth this year group has demonstrated.

The external examination period is now underway. This year marks the first time Suzanne Cory High School has delivered both VCE and IB examinations on site, and processes are running efficiently. We are eager to see how our inaugural IB cohort performs and look forward to reviewing the results later this year. There is a noticeable sense of determination across the senior centre, and we commend students for their focus.

Across the school, preparations are beginning for the conclusion of the academic year. Curriculum areas are finalising learning programs, and students are completing assessments and projects. In just two weeks, we will transition into our classes for 2026, providing students with an early opportunity to familiarise themselves with new subjects, expectations, and routines.

Term 4 is always a period of change and renewal. As we farewell our most senior students, new leaders emerge, younger cohorts step forward, and the cycle of learning continues. There is a sense of anticipation building as we prepare to take the next collective step.

Thank you to staff and students for maintaining momentum and positivity during this busy period. I look forward to the energy and opportunity the final weeks will bring.
