From The Team

As always, we’ve packed lots of fun activities and learning into the past two weeks.

We respectfully recognised Remembrance Day at a special whole-school assembly, where we listened to information about the significance of the day and heard meaningful poems. We also placed bunches of poppies containing messages written by Scoresby PS students ten years ago, and honoured those who lost their lives with a minute of silence. It was lovely to see all the students listening respectfully and quietly.

Students have been working very hard to make products to sell at our Christmas Market, and we are excited to announce that it will be held on Monday 8th December from 3.00pm. Children are invited to stay at school and help sell their products until 4.00pm, however they must be accompanied by a parent or carer. If children have after-school commitments, they are free to leave at the usual time of 3.30pm. Please note that children cannot remain at school until 4.00pm without a parent or carer.

We have also enjoyed a Scoresby Superstars session outside, appreciating nature and improving our school environment. Students worked with their house groups weeding, picking up rubbish, mulching and watering the plants. It is always wonderful to see our students working collaboratively across year levels.
