Book Fair Book Update

This week, Ms Lee has been working hard to prepare the wonderful books generously donated by many of our families. We are excited to announce that starting next week, these books will be available for students to borrow.

As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, families who donated a book will have the special opportunity to borrow their donated book until the library closes in Week 8.

How will the book lending process work?

Please ensure your child brings their library bag or a suitable bag to carry the book home. If your child does not have a bag, unfortunately, we will not be able to send the book home with them.

Mr Matthews will offer the book to the child named on the plaque at the beginning of their library lesson. If the child initially declines, Mr Matthews will kindly check again to confirm their decision. Should the child still choose not to accept the book, it will be returned to regular circulation for other students to borrow.

If the child accepts the book, it will be checked out in their name, and they may keep it until their library lesson in Week 8.

If you have any questions or are unsure about these instructions, please email the school requesting your message be forwarded to Mr Matthews. He will do his best to address any queries you may have.

Scholastic Book Club Catalogue 7

Just a reminder that Issue 7 of Book Club was distributed last week. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore the great offers and deals from Scholastic. With Christmas just around the corner, this issue could be perfect for finding early gifts for nieces, nephews, or your own children.

Don’t forget, 15% of every book or community order is returned to our school as credit, which helps us grow and enrich our library collection.

How to Order:

• You can also browse the catalogue online.

Please note that Book Club orders can only be paid by credit card. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cash payments at the school office.

The deadline to submit orders for Issue 7 is Saturday, 1 November.
