Junior Class

Welcome to Term 4!

It has been a joy to see our junior students return with enthusiasm, reconnecting with educators and peers as they settle back into the rhythm of school life. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve focused on building connections and nurturing a sense of belonging through playful interactions and shared experiences.

A highlight in our learning environment has been the addition of new mirrors and sensory lights in our reset rooms. The students have shared delight as they immersed themselves in the new spaces!

As we look ahead, we’re excited for a term filled with rich learning opportunities, continued growth, and meaningful moments together. We thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to what this final term of the year will bring!

White Class

We were so excited to welcome everyone back to school after the holidays! The students in the White Class returned full of energy and big smiles, eager to reconnect with friends and share their holiday news. It’s been wonderful to see their enthusiasm as we settle back into the new term. This term our class is beginning a new numeracy unit all about schedules and time. Students will explore concepts such as days of the week, sequencing daily events, and reading analogue and digital clocks to tell time. Through many differentiated activities the students will learn how time helps us organise our day - from morning routines to school timetables.

Senior Class

Each Wednesday, the Senior West class visits Burnside Village to complete their weekly shopping at Coles. This community-based learning experience is part of the Modified SACE Mathematics subject, where students explore financial mathematics, develop independence in the community and build self-agency. These excursions provide valuable opportunities for students to apply their maths skills in real life contexts while gaining confidence in everyday tasks. It is a pleasure to accompany them each week and observe them represent our school in the local community.
