Dear Families

I am delighted to share with you a special event that took place this week at the Government House. Abbey, from the Purple Class, received the Lions Children of Courage Award, and it was a moment of immense pride and joy for her family and all of us at St Pat's.

As many of you know, Abbey faced significant medical and health challenges last year, which resulted in a three-month hospital stay. Her condition was critical during that time, but with remarkable strength and determination, she made a full recovery. Abbey's resilience and courage throughout this ordeal have been nothing short of extraordinary, and she is truly deserving of this amazing award.

It was a privilege to witness this celebration of Abbey's achievements along with her parents, Sarah and Simon, who have also endured a challenging journey.  The event was a testament to the strength of their family and a heartwarming representation of our school community.

On Sunday, four students received the sacrament of First Eucharist and Confirmation. It was a beautiful celebration with Father James, and we extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to this special occasion. This event was another shining example of our school culture and community.

This week we also celebrated the upcoming marriage of Mel Condon, our Acting Deputy Head of Campus. The students helped to prepare Mel for her big day and we wish Mel and Jordan all the very best for their future together.

In other news, class structures are being prepared, and we will communicate the details as soon as we can. Additionally, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra performance was amazing, and our students thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to engage with the arts in a meaningful way.

Enjoy the Spring weather!

Warm regards
