2025 School Review

Tuesday the 18th of November

6pm in Room 9

Make sure you have this date in your diary! As part of the school review, the panel spend time talking to staff, students and families, to collect information about what is working and what needs to be worked on, using a strengths based and future focused lens.

The forum for family members is being held on Tuesday the 18th of November at 6pm in Room 9. All parents/caregivers are welcome.

Our review begins next week! There will be a group of people (the panel members) in school on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday is the day the panel looks at school data, completes some class observations and looks to see if there are any hunches or themes that come out of the data, followed by the family forum that evening. Wednesday is taken up with further class observations and staff and student forums.

The final day of the review is next Monday, 24th November, where the panel are back to look at the discussion and findings from the previous 2 days to determine the way forward and what will be the focus for the next 4 year long Strategic Plan.

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day on Tuesday 11th was acknowledged with a whole school assembly at the start of the day. Mitch Harris spoke, reminding us all of the significance of this day and the importance of not forgetting the lessons from history, then read the poem “In Flander’s Field”, followed by a minute of silent reflection.

A small group of students whose parents have served in the armed forces, represented our school by laying a wreath at the community ceremony held at the Cenotaph.
