CAREERS NEWS

Paddock to Plate Experience
On Tuesday 4th November some of our Years 9–11 students toured Bindaree Food Group, gaining a first-hand look at how beef goes from paddock to plate. They explored career opportunities across processing, logistics and sustainability, and saw how their classroom skills connect to real-world industries.
A huge thank you to Bindaree Food Group for welcoming our students and providing such a valuable learning experience!
Year 11 Café Barista Basics Course
In week 4 several of our Year 11 students took part in the Café Barista Basics Course through Inverell Community College, proudly organised by the Educational Pathways Program.
Students gained hands-on experience in a real café environment — mastering espresso techniques, milk steaming, hygiene standards and customer service essentials.
This fantastic opportunity gives students a practical insight into the hospitality industry, while building confidence, teamwork and transferable skills they can take into any career pathway.
