Steam (Science)

Over the last couple of weeks, students have had fun continuing to learn about Physical Science.

Students in Prep have been conducting tests to experiment how objects of different shapes, sizes and materials move.

Students in Year 1 and 2 have been using their knowledge of how objects move to design and create a Rube Goldberg machine. Their designs and resilience making these has been fantastic!

In Year 3 and 4, students have been learning about different types of forces by designing and making parachutes, testing how friction affects how things move and using magnets. 

Students in Year 5 and 6 have been learning about circuits. They have been learning how to make different types of circuits and identifying materials that are electrical conductors.
