'Together Everyone Achieves More'
Over the past two weeks, our staff have been incredibly busy behind the scenes, finishing the year strong and planning ahead for an exciting 2026. One of the key areas we have been focusing on is strengthening our School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) approach. Staff have been working with the wonderful Nicole Bourbaud in coaching sessions to deepen our understanding of SWPBS and redevelop our whole-school expectations.
At Cowwarr Primary School, we are committed to creating a space where every child has a great day. We know that success looks different for every learner, and we pride ourselves on meeting both the social-emotional and academic needs of our students. This means providing the right support for each child and sometimes that support may look a little different from one student to the next. Our teachers and support staff continue to work tirelessly to personalise learning and wellbeing supports, and we are proud of the dedication they bring to ensuring every student thrives.
A huge thank you to our Twilight Market Committee who are working extremely hard behind the scenes to create a magical event for our school and wider Cowwarr community. These kinds of events don’t happen without a lot of planning, and we are so grateful for the passion and support driving this initiative. These things would not be possible without the tremendous support of our school families.
Thank you to Kathleen for her time and effort preparing our fabulous market signage, which will soon be displayed throughout the community.
We’re also excited to share that our school will be running a plant stall at the Twilight Market, and our collection is growing beautifully thanks to the generous donations and support from our school community. A special thank you to Bon, Miss Marg, Kathleen, and Mrs Smith for contributing plants, time and care this week.
Finally, we are thrilled to welcome our 2026 Prep students for their first transition session this week. We have many exciting sessions planned across the term to support a smooth and joyful start to school life. If you are still deciding on a school for your child for 2026, we warmly invite you to join us at one of our upcoming transition days. We would love to meet you and show you why Cowwarr PS is such a special place to learn and grow.
Thank you for your continued support, teamwork and community spirit. Go TEAM! Remember Together Everyone Achieves More.
