Term 4 - Week 6
A message from the teachers
The last two terms have seen our 5/6 students step up in a number of amazing ways. They have accepted room changes, adapted to interruptions and performed with the expectations we have placed on them with assessments and responsibilities.
All of the teachers want to give a huge shout out to our young leaders with all their hard work on our Lighthouse Accreditation Day. Whether it was as a tour guide showing off our school, explaining a passion of theirs to our guests or helping the younger students shine, our 5/6’s were amazing. A special shoutout to our School Captains and Vice Captains who have taken on a lot of responsibility in the last couple of weeks. Daniel did a fantastic job on Remembrance Day, reading out an amazing speech and really exemplifying the respect we should show on this most important day.
We also want to celebrate the resilience and hard work that the students are showing at the moment with all of the testing and assessments that come with this time of year. We have had some amazing results, some incredible growth and students taking some real pride in showing what they can do. This will be continuing over the next couple of weeks and we encourage everyone to continue trying their absolute best.
