Yr 3-6 HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY

2025 HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY

The annual 3-6 House Cross Country event was held in perfect conditions at school on Monday! All the students in years 3, 4, 5, and 6 have been preparing for this event during PE over the last 4 weeks. In what is a challenging event, all the competitors did an amazing job in completing their race and doing their best for their team. The year 3/4 students had to run 4 laps of the course around the school - equating to approxiamtely 1800m. The 5/6 students ran 6 laps of the course which was approximately 2700m.

There were some exceptional efforts, and by the end of the day we announced Xavier (Green house) the winners of the trophy for 2025. Final results were:

Xavier - Green: 1st

Padma - Red: 2nd

Lourdes - Blue: 3rd

Kildare - Gold: 4th

The results from each race will be used to select an SJV school team that will compete against other schools in our District. That team will be annouced this week. A big thanks to all the staff and the parent helpers who came along to help with ribbons, finish line stickers, photos, standing on the course and some even ran along with our students! Your support is greatly appreciated!!
