From our Students:
On Saturday, 29th of March St John Vianney’s have their SJV community carnival! There were lots of very interesting yet fun activities, there was also unique and delicious foods that everybody enjoyed.
Here were some students who we interviewed who came to the SJV Carnival and shared some thoughts and reviews about it:
Anna 5/6J: “The carnival was an enjoyable time as it had many different things that showed multiculturalism at a reasonable price, for example the Greek souvlaki and Spanish churros etc.”
Jacob 5/6O “My highlight of the SJV carnival was all the different, perfect foods and drinks that they had there such as popcorn, chocolate, Coca Cola and juice.
Dinara 5/6N: “One of my favourite highlights at the SJV carnival was the Greek dancing and the dance group because I got to know more about the culture and the style of dancing.”
Hendrix 1/2C: “ I loved the chips, ice-cream and the games like Lob-A-Choc and Match-A-Fruit which were really fun.”
Jason 1/2B: “My favourite part at the carnival was the ball pit and food because the food was really yummy.”
Veronica 1/2DS: “I liked the Easter bunny because he was cuddly, and he gave everyone Easter eggs.”
Tahlia FL: “I loved all the games and the yummy food; my favourite game was the ring toss!”
Emma 1/2SM: “I liked the petting zoo because there were lots of animals. My favourite animal was the rabbit.”
Havana FCP: “My friends and I liked playing tag and playing on the playground. I also liked throwing the coins on the chocolate and my brother won a chocolate.”
Angelo FW: “My favourite thing at the carnival was when the Easter bunny came and gave us yummy chocolate, I also liked when we did our dance to Knickerbocker number 9.”
Sabrina 3/4B: “I really liked that we could make slime, and the cupcakes tasted delicious. The VR was really cool as well.”
Sienna 3/4W: “I really liked all the fun activities and the slime making!”
Alkis 3/4TG: ¨I really liked souvlaki because it touched a part of my culture and playing on the playground with my friends.
Mason 3/4TG: “My favourite thing was probably the activity where we had to handball the football at a target.”
Ayush 5/6A: ¨It was very lively, and it was a good way to socialise with my friends, family and more.
It looks like everybody had lots of fun at our carnival and thank you all for helping and supporting SJV with this event.
