Dear Families,
What a beautiful day we all had on Saturday!!! The SJV Carnival was nothing short of a wonderful success on many levels! From the moment the gates opened, there was a buzz of excitement in the air as family, friends and the wider community gathered to enjoy a day filled with laughter, games, activities and delicious food! The performances from our students and the local community groups were brilliant. It was so heartwarming to see everyone come together to celebrate our community!
Events like this would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of our small committee, stallholders and sponsors. A huge thank you goes out to the amazing parent volunteers and staff group who gave their time and energy to coordinate, set up, run stalls and pack up. Your enthusiasm and skill do not go unnoticed. Thank you also to everyone who contributed through generous sponsorship, money and food donations, resources and support to make this carnival extra special.
The event demonstrates once again how we are a well-connected and strong school community. It was inspiring to see our people of all ages come together and achieve such wonderful success.
As a fundraiser for our school, we have raised approximately $22,000. This is an awesome effort!
We are working toward building a structure to cover the artificial turf. This will allow us to use this space throughout the year.
Well, done SJV!
On The Carnival Wrap Up Page we ask for your feedback - two simple questions 'What went Well' and 'Even Better If...'
We also acknowledge again our Sponsors see 'SJV Carnival Pages'
