RESIDENTIAL

Another busy week during residential time!

Last weekend was a smaller group staying in but several activities happened with Sally and Bill.

Here is their recap….

We had lovely warm weather which made for a visit to the “Lights on the Hill’ Vintage Machinery Display in Brunswick, followed by a swim and BBQ at Koombana Bay.  Students enjoyed playing cricket, spike ball, swimming in the calm and clear waters and leaping from the pontoon before demolishing steak (steaks and sausages expertly cooked by Sean and Ross).  After the beach we made a stop in town and even managed a stop at VR World in Bunbury. Thomas had a great time on the virtual rollercoaster ride and tobogganing.  Saturday night was quiet after a hot and busy day with students off to bed early.

Sunday morning beach fishing was on offer and several students came along to throw in a line.  A dozen or so herring were caught along with one unsuspecting crab.

The afternoon was the usual unwind along with a few games of pool, badminton and table tennis, before the students started to trickle back in from a weekend at home.

This week has been jammed packed with Netball try outs, footy, gym visits onsite and at the Harvey, Cattle Club, horses, beach fishing at Myalup, MasterChef as well as arts and craft with Mel.
