Reflecting on a fantastic start to the year as we approach the end of Term 1.

I kick started the year with a fresh space incorporating soft furnishings, games, fidget toys and slime which the "big kids" have enjoyed very much.  The students know the days and nights I am at the College; my door (and window) is always open.  I have enjoyed the one-on-one with students this term, wandering around during Residential time, an excursion to the RAC Arena, watching students play in the Harvey Basketball finals, the swimming carnival, Cattle Club visits, trips to the Harvey Swimming Pool, learning new skills in the butchers and bumping into students during town trips and at the Harvey Harvest Festival.

Students have said they're looking forward to some rest and relaxation over the holidays with some plans to work and spend time with family.

I have attached a fantastic resource of services supporting social, emotional and cultural wellbeing which are available for students and families to access throughout the school holidays.
