Mr. Thornton, Ms Sculley and 2025 School Captains
As we approach the midpoint of the school year, it’s been a busy but exciting time for all of us. With mid-year exams just around the corner, we know many of you are working hard, revising content, and putting in those extra hours to prepare. Remember to look after yourselves during this time—prioritise rest, stay hydrated, and reach out if you’re feeling overwhelmed. You've already achieved so much, and we’re confident this next challenge will be no different. In addition to exams, we’ve also been busy behind the scenes planning one of our most exciting events of the year—Harmony Day.
For the first time ever, our school will be hosting an after-school Harmony Day celebration! This event is all about recognising and embracing the diversity that makes our school community so vibrant. Expect a joyful evening filled with cultural performances, music, delicious food, and interactive activities that highlight the many backgrounds and stories that make up our school. We’re thrilled to be leading this initiative and can’t wait to celebrate with you all.
Another special moment for our Year 12s took place recently as we gathered for our official cohort photo. It was a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come together and how close we are to the end of our high school journey. Standing side by side in uniform, sharing laughs and memories—it was more than just a photo. It was a symbol of our unity, growth, and the legacy we’ll leave behind. As we head into the final stretch of this term, let’s continue to support one another through our studies, our events, and our shared experiences. We’re so proud to be part of this community and grateful for the way each of you contributes to it.
With pride and gratitude,
Your School Captains
