Religious Education in Classrooms

Over the past 2 weeks, I have visited Year 3 classrooms and Kindergarten. Year 3 has been investigating Holy Week and what occurred during this time. They worked in groups to find out what Jesus did and then shared their findings with the rest of the class. 

In Kindergarten, students were learning about the Bible story of “The Good Shepherd”. First the students listened to the story using our big book, then they wondered about who the Good Shepherd was and why he looked after the sheep. Finally the students made some sheep and recognised that they were like the sheep, following Jesus and being cared for by him.
