A Message from the Principal

Mrs Carolyn Parsell

Dear Parents and Carers,

Congratulations

Thank-you and congratulations on an absolutely amazing Term 1. It has been a blessing to watch the students grow and learn and to be part of such a wonderful community. The fundraising efforts have been exceptional and the Colour Fun Run has brought great joy to the school. The funds will be used to assist with our celebration of 100 Years of education at St Martha's School. Huge thanks to all for your support and contributions to the fundraising. Planning for our mosaic project is looking great and we look forward to installing the finished product prior to our Feast Day Celebrations. Don't forget to check out our Facebook page to review all the fabulous action of Term 1, 2025! It has been action packed and full of wonderful experiences.

Lent - Easter

This week we joined in prayer with the Mini-Vinnies students leading the Stations of the Cross. The students were prayerful and created a very respectful reflection on the Stations of the Cross. Each Station had a beautiful art work and quiet reflection on the way to the Cross. We thank all the parents who attended the first session and all the children for their participation. There is still a week of Lent to go. Next week we move into Holy Week. This time of year we reflect on the wonderful gift that Jesus gave us when he died for us and rose from the dead. I hope that the holidays bring you peace and joy and a sense of the new life of Easter. The Easter season continues for fifty days culminating on Pentecost Sunday.

Peace and best wishes,

Carolyn Parsell
