Department of Education Behaviour Statement.

At the end of 2025 the Department released a new Behaviour Statement for all government school communities so that together, we can create safe schools where everyone belongs, learns, and thrives. When schools, families and students work together, we achieve the best outcomes. These partnerships are essential to creating school environments that support all students to belong, learn and thrive. As a parent and carer, you play a vital role in helping your child to understand and meet shared behaviour expectations. The statement is available here:

Respectful, safe, engaged: shared expectations to support student behaviour statement .This outlines the shared expectations and how you can help.

You can find further information, resources and support at Supporting positive behaviour in Victorian government schools

Next Tuesday March 3rd is our school photo day. Details on how to order are available via Compass.

Division Swimming

On Wednesday March 4th we are sending our team of swimmers that have made it through to Division. Congratulations to our 14 students who have reached this level of competition. We are very proud of you and look forward to hearing all about your swims next Wednesday!

Staff Car Park

Just a friendly reminder to all families that the staff carpark is for staff use only between the hours of 8:15 am and 4:30 pm. Over the past week there have been families being dropped off in the car park whilst staff are trying to park. This is an unsafe practice and cannot occur. We understand that parking around our school can be challenging and we experience this as staff ourselves with the limited spaces for us. If you park in the staff car park there is also a high likelihood that you will be blocked in by a staff member parking and that a significant amount of time will pass before you will be able to move your car. We are also experiencing a reduction in car park spaces whilst the construction of the new toilet blocks is occurring. Your support with this is greatly appreciated.

Wishing you all a relaxing weekend,

Tandy Johnson
